Bethany thought she owned the streets. Destiny knew she didn’t.

Destiny moves fast through cracked alleys, energy sharp and electric.

DESTINY
Listen up, y’all! That big girl, Bethany… we gotta scare her good. She needs a lesson she won’t forget.

The gang nods, excited. A few smirk with mischievous anticipation.

DESTINY
Alright. Stick together. Don’t let her see us coming. We wait for the perfect moment. Got it?

Bethany walks confidently, unaware she’s being watched.

She adjusts her jacket, trying to look in control.

BETHANY
Finally… a little alone time. Time to handle this meeting and prove I can run things my way.

She glances around, missing Destiny’s silhouette watching her from the corner.

One gang member leaps from behind a trash can.

GANG MEMBER #1
Boo!

Bethany jumps, startled.

BETHANY
What the—who are you guys?!

Destiny steps out, smirking.

DESTINY
Relax, Bethany… it’s just me. But these folks? They’re here to teach you a little lesson about respecting the hood.

The gang surrounds her, making spooky noises, rattling trash lids.

GANG MEMBERS
You ain’t ready for this, girl!

Bethany backs up, panic cracking her confidence.

BETHANY
Okay! Okay! I get it! Stop! Please!

Destiny steps forward, arms crossed.

DESTINY
No mercy, Bethany. You think you can walk in here like you own the place? Think again.

The gang circles tighter.

GANG MEMBER #2
She’s big, but she ain’t ready for this. Keep pushing her!

Bethany flinches, almost laughing from nerves and fear.

BETHANY
Alright! You win! Just—just stop!

Destiny laughs, enjoying her victory.

DESTINY
That’s what happens when you forget whose territory you’re in. Respect the streets… or they’ll teach you the hard way.

Bethany sinks against a wall, clutching her bag.

BETHANY
Okay… I get it… you win. I won’t mess with the hood.

The gang backs off, satisfied.

Destiny walks up and places a firm hand on Bethany’s shoulder.

DESTINY
Alright, fun’s over. But remember this moment. Next time, think twice before playing hero.

Bethany gives a shaky laugh.

BETHANY
You guys… are scary. I swear.

The gang disperses into the alleys.

Destiny calls out over her shoulder—

DESTINY
Welcome to the hood, Bethany! It ain’t easy out here!

Bethany exhales, still shaken but smiling a little.

BETHANY
Yeah… welcome indeed…

Fade out.

The gang answers as one:

GANG
Yeah!

They follow Destiny deeper into the alley shadows.
